I never knew this, but sleeping on your left side can improve your health. It even goes so far that it can even save lives. In holistic medicine, the left side of the body is the dominant lymphatic side. This probably does not ring a bell, but while you’re sleeping on this side, your body has more time to filter toxins, lymph fluid and waste through the thoracic canal and lymph nodes. If you sleep on your right side, the lymph system can start to run slower.
